I'm hiringI'm working

Hiring on Furrsati, start to finish.

Every step of a project, in the order you will meet it, what you do, what happens to your money, and what to do when something goes wrong.

9 steps, in order

01Before anything else

Make an account.

It is free, it takes an email address, and you confirm that address before you can post. Nothing on the hiring side costs money until you fund a milestone.

One account can be both sides. If you also want to take on work, you switch role from your profile rather than signing up twice.

02Step one

Describe the work.

Posting a project is free and takes a couple of minutes: what you need, which field it falls in, and what you expect to spend. You can write it yourself or answer a few questions and let the app draft it.

If the work is a defined, repeatable piece, a logo, a landing page, a set of reels, you can skip the brief entirely and buy a fixed-price service instead.

03Step two

Read what comes back.

Freelancers send a proposal with a price and a plan, not just a message. Each one carries the person's profile: their field, their work, their rate, and what previous clients said.

You do not have to wait. You can browse freelancers by field, skill or city and invite the ones you want to hear from, the app ranks who fits the brief you wrote.

04Step three

Agree the plan.

A proposal is a starting point, not a take-it-or-leave-it. You can counter on price, on timing, or on how the work is split, and so can they, as many rounds as it takes.

What you settle on becomes milestones: each one an amount, a piece of work and a date. Long or open-ended work can be a retainer instead, billed by the day, week or month.

05Step four

Fund one milestone.

You pay for the first milestone with a card, and the money stops there. It is held, not sent to the freelancer, and not something you can quietly take back on your own once work has started.

You fund one milestone at a time, so what is ever at risk is one piece of work rather than the whole project. Before you pay, the app shows the exact total, the processing fee on top and what the freelancer will receive, your own rates, not a published average.

Furrsati's standard fee to you. We charge clients nothing to post, hire or pay.

A $250 milestone costs you $262.50. Nothing else, ever.

06While it runs

Everything stays on the project.

Messages, files, voice notes and video calls all live on the project rather than in someone's inbox. You can see what was asked for, what was sent, and when.

That record is not only for convenience. If the two of you disagree later, it is the evidence somebody at Furrsati reads to decide, which is why moving the conversation off the platform is the one thing that leaves you unprotected.

07Step five

Nothing moves until you approve.

The freelancer marks the milestone delivered and you look at it. Approve and the held money is released to them; ask for changes and it stays exactly where it is while they fix it.

Approving is also what opens the next milestone, so a project moves in fundable pieces you sign off one at a time.

08If it goes wrong

Somebody decides, and quickly.

Either side can open a dispute on a funded milestone. The money is frozen where it already was, both of you submit what you have, and the decision comes within 48 hours.

There are three possible endings and no others: released to the freelancer, refunded to you, or split. Work that was never delivered comes back to you.

09After the first one

The second project is easier.

You leave a review, and it becomes part of that freelancer's record for the next client. Your card is saved, so funding the next milestone is one confirmation.

If it went well, you can hire the same person directly with a custom offer, or put them on a retainer instead of posting again.

Post your first project.

It is free, and nothing is charged until you fund a milestone.
