What Are Cookies

Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They help us provide you with a better experience by remembering your preferences and understanding how you use our platform.

Essential Cookies

These cookies are necessary for the platform to function properly. They cannot be disabled.

• Session cookies — maintain your login state as you navigate the platform
• Security cookies — help protect your account and prevent fraud
• Preference cookies — remember your language and theme settings
• Cookie choice — a note in your browser storage (furrsati_marketing_consent) that remembers whether you pressed Accept or Reject

Analytics Cookies

These tools are off until you press Accept on the cookie banner. Until then they are not loaded and set nothing. If you accept, we use:

• PostHog — shows us which pages and features are used. It stores a random visitor ID in a cookie and in your browser storage (names start with ph_), for up to 1 year.
• Google Analytics — measures visits to the site. It sets cookies named _ga and _ga_ followed by our measurement ID, for up to 2 years.
• These tools see which pages you view and which key actions you take, such as signing up, sending a project brief, posting a job or tapping a download button.

Advertising Measurement

These tools show us which of our ads bring people to Furrsati and whether they go on to sign up. They are also off until you press Accept. If you accept, we use:

• Meta (Facebook and Instagram) — the Meta Pixel in your browser and Meta’s Conversions API from our servers. The Pixel sets _fbp, a browser ID, and _fbc, the ID of the Meta ad you clicked (only if you came from one). Both last up to 90 days. The Privacy Policy explains what the Conversions API sends.
• Google Ads, with Google Consent Mode — until you accept, Google’s tag is not loaded and is told that all storage is denied. After you accept, it is told that storage is granted and sets cookies whose names start with _gcl_ (such as _gcl_au and _gcl_aw), for up to 90 days. Google Analytics, above, runs through the same Google tag.
• Our own browser storage — furrsati_ads_first_click and furrsati_ads_first_meta_click keep the ID of the Google or Meta ad that first brought you, so we can credit the right ad. They are saved only after you accept and are not used after 90 days.

Meta, Google and PostHog handle this information under their own privacy policies, on servers outside Lebanon, including in the United States.

One item is stored before you choose: furrsati_utm in your browser storage. If the link you arrived by carries campaign labels (such as utm_source and utm_campaign), it keeps those labels. Before you accept, it holds only those labels and no ad click ID. It stays in your browser until you clear its storage.

Third-Party Cookies

Some cookies may be set by third-party services we use:

• Stripe — may set cookies for payment processing and fraud prevention
• Firebase — may set cookies for authentication purposes

Managing Cookies

You can change your choice at any time with Cookie settings in the footer of any page. Pressing Reject switches these tools off and removes their cookies and stored IDs from this browser. What they already received stays with them.

If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we treat it as Reject, even if you press Accept.

You can manage cookies through your browser settings. Most browsers allow you to block or delete cookies. However, disabling essential cookies may affect the functionality of the platform.
