How Messaging Works on Furrsati: Stay Connected With Clients & Freelancers

Great work starts with clear communication. Furrsati's built-in messaging system keeps every conversation — from first contact to final delivery — organized in one place. No WhatsApp threads, no email chains, no lost context. Here's how it works for both freelancers and clients.
The Messages Tab
Whether you're a freelancer or a client, your Messages tab is the hub for all your conversations.

Each conversation shows:
- The other person's name and avatar — color-coded for quick recognition
- The project name — so you always know which contract the message is about
- Latest message preview — see what was said without opening the thread
- Timestamp — know when the last message was sent
Use the filter tabs at the top to quickly navigate:
- All — every conversation in one view
- Unread — messages you haven't seen yet
- Contracts — conversations tied to active contracts only
In the example above, you can see 6 active conversations — each linked to a specific contract. "Accepted! Welcome aboard." and "Moving on to milestone 2." are the kinds of messages that keep projects moving forward.
Messaging From the Client Side
Clients use messaging to communicate with hired freelancers, ask questions during work, and approve or request revisions on deliverables.

As a client, your message list is organized the same way. You can see:
- Unread count badge — a red badge tells you there's something waiting
- Contracts tab — focus only on conversations tied to paid contracts
- Latest message preview — stay on top of project updates at a glance
In the client view above, Nadia Frem has sent a message: "I'll have the first draft ready by..." — letting the client know exactly what to expect next. This kind of proactive communication is what separates good freelancers from great ones.
Tip for clients: Respond to freelancer messages promptly. Fast communication keeps projects on schedule and signals to freelancers that you're a great client to work with — which means better proposals next time.
Messaging Inside a Contract
Every contract has its own dedicated message thread. This means:
- No confusion about which project a message refers to
- Full history of every conversation tied to that contract
- Both parties can reference the original scope, milestones, and deliverables in context
When you need to discuss a revision, share a file, or clarify a requirement — it all happens inside the contract conversation. Nothing gets lost.
Contacting Support
Have a question that isn't about a specific contract? Furrsati has a dedicated Support conversation built right into the app.

Tap on the Support conversation to open a direct line to the Furrsati team. Whether you have a question about payments, need help with a dispute, or just want to understand how something works — Support is available directly in the app. No external emails, no contact forms, no waiting on hold.
Just tap, type, and get help.
Tips for Clear Communication
Whether you're a freelancer keeping a client informed or a client reviewing deliverables, here are a few habits that make every project smoother:
- Respond within 24 hours — delays on either side slow down the whole project
- Be specific about feedback — "I want changes" is less useful than "Can we adjust the font size and move the logo to the right?"
- Confirm milestones in writing — a quick message like "Milestone 1 looks great, moving on to Milestone 2" creates a clear record
- Use messages to document scope changes — if the project grows, note it in the thread before starting extra work
- Message before disputing — most misunderstandings resolve quickly with a direct conversation
Clear communication is the foundation of every successful freelance relationship. Furrsati keeps all your conversations organized, contract-linked, and accessible — so you can focus on the work.
